Job Brief:
We are seeking a Financial Administrator to become a member of our team! You will be in charge of a number of duties pertaining to the business’s financial operations as a Financial Administrator. In addition to creating financial reports and helping with budgeting, your duties will include keeping track of finances. Additionally, you will have to help with the audit and tax return preparation. Experience in accounting or finance is a must for this role, as is the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively.
Financial Administrator Duties:
- Recognize federal, state, and local regulations as well as accounting systems and procedures.
- Keep accurate records of all financial transactions and use automated or manual systems to maintain financial records.
- Prepare financial reports, keep an eye on cash flows, and handle taxes
- Create budgets, project cash flow, and handle account reconciliation.
- Rectify inconsistencies in financial documentation
- Pay your bills, including those owed to creditors, employees, and suppliers.
- Reports and analyses of trends and financial data
- Find and fix disparities in finances
- Keep up with the organization’s documents and files, including contracts and agreements.
- Continue to do business with creditors, suppliers, and other parties.
- Keep up with legal requirements, best practices, and other information.
Financial Administrator Responsibilities:
- Reconcile cash accounts and evaluate monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets in coordination with outside accountants.
- When necessary, offer technical assistance to field operations.
- Make invoices, keep track of finances, and balance bank accounts.
- Organize payroll and the filing of taxes, including local, state, and federal taxes.
- Observe and verify adherence to Securities and Exchange Commission regulations as well as the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
Requirements And Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline
- Two or more years of relevant accounting expertise
- Familiarity with common office duties, such as supply, mailroom, and finance duties
- The capacity to back up other administrative roles with support
- Capacity to execute every bookkeeping task
